The blueprints for the Robins Family Housing community mark a new approach to military housing. It breaks away from the expansive, non-defined housing tracts of the past and embraces the uniqueness of family-friendly and energy efficient planning.
Overall, the design promotes community through a variety of common spaces and reinforces the individual through distinctive architecture and private open space. One of the focuses and successes of the community layout is for the 5-minute (or less) walk from the homes to the majority of amenities (parks, playgrounds, tot lots, multi-purpose fields). Robins Family Housing emphasizes family living and a pedestrian experience.
The plan features two, three, four and five bedroom single-family and detached duplexes. The homes may have garages, carports, front yards and fully fenced rear patios or yards. Three villages are on RAFB and four villages are off the base in gated communities. The design for this project subdivides the housing area into neighborhoods or villages as described below.
Please choose from the neighborhoods listed below to get a feel for not only the individual homes but distinct communities as a whole.
